I fell in love with ponies at a very young age although, living in London, I was never able to have any contact with them. So instead I drew them. Imagine my delight therefore when having moved in 2006 to Devon I came into contact with people who owned horses and ponies so I could actually observe these gorgeous creatures first hand and take hundreds (almost literally) of photos as reference material! These Exmoor ponies are painted in acrylic on canvas.
